Food analysis

We analyse food, nutritional supplements as well as products for clinical and enteral nutrition for parameters such as:

  • Vitamins
    We determine vitamins in native and added forms by LC-MS-MS or LC-DAD or LC-FLD.
  • Amino acids
    We have many years of experience in this area and are able to analyse free or bound amino acids using an amino acid analyser.
  • Minerals and trace elements
    After a sample-specific preparation, the elements are analyzed by means of ICP-MS or AAS.
  • Carbohydrates
    This heterogeneous group of substances is mainly determined by means of ion chromatography.
    Dietary fiber, in contrast, is quantified by LC-RI or gravimetrically.
  • Fatty acids
    We analyze the fatty acid spectrum (including omega fatty acids) of a sample by gas chromatography.

  • Migration tests of packaging materials
    We design migration tests with realistic conditions, taking into account the regulatory requirements. We use standardised migration cells and modern analysis methods.
  • Development and validation of product-specific analytical methods
    We develop and validate new analytical methods or adapt existing methods to the needs of our customers.
