The REACH Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006 has been in effect since July 1, 2007 and regulates the registration, evaluation, approval, and restriction of chemicals.
Physicochemical parameters
Due to the required physicochemical requirements of the REACH registration, we have continuously expanded our range of services in this area so that we are able to carry out these tests according to OECD guidelines as well as according to EU and UN methods.
Furthermore, thanks to our GLP certification for categories 1 and 8, we can also offer these examinations under GLP conditions.
The Institute is equipped with state-of-the-art analytical equipment and techniques. This enables the exact determination of physicochemical parameters such as vapor pressure, melting or boiling temperature by DSC or TGA. Moreover, unknown substances in, for example, hydrolysis products can be identified using UHPLC-QTOF (MS) or GC-MS/MS, and their structure can be determined by NMR (in cooperation with our partner laboratories).
